Warmamas is a project about a special group of mothers. They are the mothers of soldiers who serve - or have served - in our military in a time of war. The majority of these soldiers have been deployed to the Middle East and Southwest Asia. Most have returned home. Some have not. This project attempts to provide the mothers of these soldiers a public platform on which to tell their own stories, each narrative as unique as it is universal.
Donations can be made to warmamas in the form of a check or electronically.

Millions of mothers have said goodbye to their children deploying to Afghanistan or Iraq in the past 14 years. They’re the ones wearing the dark sunglasses at the airport, just in case saying goodbye grows too difficult.
Perhaps you are one of these moms or know someone who was. Warmamas records their stories, stories that are still unfinished, stories about returning children and the new challenges families now face - all an essential part of our larger history. Before we can understand the enormity of this history, we need to listen.
Your donation makes it possible for Warmamas to continue listening and documenting the mother's story. Thank you.
